Justin Moor was ordained as a Deacon in the Diocese of Toledo in 2017, becoming the youngest permanent Deacon in the Toledo area at the time. He is assigned in this role as a volunteer at Corpus Christi University Parish.

Justin and his wife, Julie, have been married since 2002. They have three children: Journey, Faith and Becket. They both are graduates of The Servant Leadership Center Program. Justin has served as a board member for Anne Grady Services and Toledo Club Toastmasters.

Justin serves as the Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio’s VP of Planning & Program Development. During his 15 year career at the Area Office on Aging, Justin has had responsibility for $10 million of the agency’s budget for service provider contracts, support of family caregivers, nutrition and wellness programs, strategic planning, community partnerships, call center operations, marketing, volunteerism, special events and more.

Justin’s leadership has earned him both national and local recognition with: U.S. Senator George Voinovich nominating him for the U.S. Senate Leadership Summit for Young Professionals in D.C., His work as an innovative developer of programs earning two Aging Innovation Awards from the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging, His work helping create the Area Office on Aging’s re-designed website earning the distinction of the best website in the nation for those age 50 and over its selection as the Best of Show National Mature Media Award winner, beating out the Web sites of giants in the industry like AARP. The agency’s brochure he helped create also was also recognized as a Gold National Mature Media Award winner, and His selection as one of the young leaders of Northwest Ohio as a recipient of the 20 Under 40 Leadership Award.
